SCHOOL RULES

All NEAians are expected to conduct themselves as worthy citizens at all times, in all places. As the child progresses from the lower to the higher class, he/she will be given increasing opportunity to shift conforming to an externally imposed order to self imposed discipline. The school insists strict punctuality, regular school attendance; cleanliness in dress, general grooming and fidelity is strongly discouraged.

• Every student is expected to bring with him/her, daily, the school diary. If a pupil loses the diary, he/she will be subjected to disciplinary action and a new diary will have to be purchased.
• Students should arrive in the school atleast ten minutes before the bell is rung. The students from classes 1st onwards should reach at 7:35 a.m. and the students of Nursery wing should reach by 8:20
• All the students should be habitually clean and neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all class days, examination days, birthdays, P.T.M. days and for all School functions at or outside the school.
• No student should wander around in the school premises. The student should carry class pass to come out of the class.
• No shouting or whistling is allowed in the school premises. Throwing bits of chalk at others or teasing fellow students or using abusive language or playing in class rooms/corridors is strictly forbidden.
• Students are the care takers of the school property. No student should scratch or spoil the Desks/Chairs/ Benches/ Boards or damage any school property, write or draw anything on the wall or in any way damage things belonging to school. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the Class Teacher/Principal. Any student who notices something damaged should immediately report the matter even if he/she does not know who has done it. Every student will be responsible for looking after his/her class property.
• Books other than text and reference books or library books brought to school without permission are liable to be confiscated.
• Students are pohibited to bring valuable articles like expensive watches, cameras, mobile phones and fountain pens etc. to school . Students are strictly not allowed to wear ornaments in the school. The school is no way responsible for the damage or loss of any such items.
• Students are not allowed to put mehndi on palms, colour their hair and varnish nails. School rules with regard to hair cut have to be observed very strictly.
• No student who has been absent on the previous day will be admitted to the class without a note or explanation in the diary by the parents.
• A student using unfair means and receiving or giving any assistance in any form during tests/Examinations will be marked Zero and will be given a written warning. Repetition of the same may result in dismissal.
• The school reserves the right to dismiss any student whose conduct is not satisfactory and upto the mark.
